The new $16.5 million dollar hotel opened in 2015 downtown Owensboro next to the convention center and Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame Museum.
It has 133 rooms including 10 suites and 14 rooms with balconies overlooking the Ohio River. It’s my recommendation to book a balcony room for the best view. It’s worth it.

Hampton By Hilton Downtown
Another hotel to stay in downtown Owensboro is the very clean and updated Hampton by Hilton.
The Hampton sets along the banks of the mighty Ohio River with multiple rooms having great views of the Indiana border.
You are only a short walk from the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and other attractions.
Parking and breakfast is complimentary at the Hampton by Hilton. There’s an indoor pool and hot tub to use during your stay.

If you want to be close to a lot of restaurants, shopping and close to the interstate, then you’ll want to be at the Courtyard By Marriott.
The Courtyard by Marriott has 109 rooms and is located right next to the IHOP off the 60 bypass. You can jump on I-165 within a few minutes.

Historic Downtown Home
This historic downtown Owensboro home will put you right in the middle of everything.
Located centrally on J.R. Miller Boulevard, this historic home built in 1891 is a private rental and has a mid century flair to it.
The floors are solid wood with a lot of original mid century architecture. Furniture in the house is mostly wood to give it a warm victorian historic feel.
The house has 5 beds and 2 baths and all the amenities you could need. If you’re traveling for work and need internet, it has a dedicated workspace with wifi.
